I am a creative coach, trained and accredited by Performance Coach Training Ltd and Relational Dynamics 1st.

Most of what I know of life and the world comes from consuming the arts in some way, whether through books, films, art, music, theatre. I use my skills to support creative people who make us see the world in another way. I have worked with English National Opera, Cameron Mackintosh, Siobhan Davies Dance, Society of West End Theatre, Chester Gateway Theatre, Oxford Concert Party, Chester Literature Festival, Studio Voltaire. I set up Catching Fireworks® in January 2009 to coach creative people from all over the UK, Europe, USA and Asia.

I understand the thrills and frustrations of the creative process. One day you are brimming with ideas and can barely keep up with yourself.  Then suddenly, you hit a moment where despite all skills and techniques, inspiration, like Elvis, has left the building.  As well as my writing, I dance the Argentine Tango, an improvised dance which enhances and contributes to my coaching style.

I have had my own life changed through coaching, as I describe in my blog piece, How I Discovered Coaching. I have regular coaching sessions and go on coaching retreats enhance my skills, learn new techniques and continue to develop professionally and personally. Coaching has helped me deal with panic attacks, a fear of public speaking and confidence issues.

If you are serious about making a change in your creative life, contact me about how we can get you into action.

I am fully insured by Holistic Insurance and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, Reg: Z3585624

ArtCan is a new non-profit, international arts organisation that supports artists through profile raising activities and exhibitions, an open network of ‘likeminded’ peers, and practical support structures.
We seek to complement and support established gallery structures by enabling emerging talent to be experienced and purchased.

A key ethos of ArtCan is that we believe that a no-commission sales structure helps ensure that the artist can focus on developing their art rather than trying to make ends meet. We therefore create opportunities for emerging contemporary artists to reach a wider audience in the art world and believe that individuals working alongside each other create power through collaboration.
